BLACK DARTER TETRA – 珍珠灯

Black Darter Tetra is a fascinating fish with a unique personality. Unlike many other Tetra species, this fish do not congregate in a large shoals, and instead prefer to keep to themselves. The male black darter tetra can be quite territorial & aggressive towards each other, this is why is recommended to keep them in a small group consisting 1 or 2 males and severale females. This will help to reduce the bullying and ensure a peaceful environment for all. While these fish can be a bit challenging to care for, they are well worth the effort.

For best results, its recommended to keep them in a single species biotope tank with a soft and sandy substrate, plenty of branches and driftwood roots for cover, dried leaf litter to maintain the pH, and floating plants to provide shade. This species has a unique appearance that sets it apart from other fish in the aquarium. Its body color is a pale orangy-brown, with a striking black lateral bank & neon blue holes that run from the gills to the caudal fin. This fish is truly a sight to behold and will make a stunning addition to any aquarium.
