ALBINO NEON TETRA – 白字日光灯

Albino Neon Tetras are a popular variant of the Neon Tetra species, distinctively characterized by their lack of color and pinkish-white bodies. They are small, schooling fish that grow up to 1.2 inches (3 centimeters) in length. These fish belong to the Characidae family and are scientifically known as Paracheirodon innesi.

Their albino appearance is due to the lack of melanin pigmentation, resulting in translucent skin and red or pink eyes. While they are similar in size and behavior to their colorful counterparts, the albinism makes them stand out and adds variety to your fish tank. Their transparent bodies give us a unique view of their internal organs, which can appear red or blue depending on their diet and overall health.

Since Albino Neon Tetras are schooling fish, it’s essential for their well-being to keep them in groups of at least six. A larger school will help them feel more secure and reduce stress, as they naturally rely on each other for safety and companionship. Keeping them with other peaceful, small species can also make for an interesting and diverse community aquarium.
