The Chili Rasbora is a tropical freshwater fish that has held the attention of the aquarium community for quite some time. These fish are beautiful, cute (so tiny!), and easy to care for. The fact that keeping them doesn’t require a lot of experience makes them a very approachable species! The average Chili Rasbora lifespan is somewhere between 4 and 8 years. While this is shorter than some of the larger fish in the aquarium trade, it’s still a solid amount of time. Lifespan is heavily affected by the quality of care they receive (mainly water conditions and overall stress).
